  • Joint Mathematical Meetings 2026 in Washington, D.C. from January 4th – 7th, 2026: Abstracts for PME Posters, which are open to undergraduates and first year graduate students presenting research from undergrad, are due on September 23rd.
  • Smart Scholarship. The Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation program supports students through graduate school, and provides them with employment after degree completion. The deadline is the first Friday in December by 5pm EST. (12/5/25)
  • The 2025 SUMS (Shenendoah Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics) Conference will be heled at James Madison Univeristy on Saturday November 1, 2025.
  • The Undergraduate Mathematics Symposium at the University of Illinois at Chicago in on Saturday November 8th. The deadline to be considered to present a poster is Friday October 10th.
  • NIH IRTA. The NIH Intramural Research Training Award supports recent college graduates that are seeking to work on one of the many projects that are being undertaken at the NIH.
  • NIH PREP. The NIH Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program supports students that are intending to complete biomedical research in the pursuit of a doctoral degree. The deadline was January 31st, 2025.
  • NSF GRFP. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is a prestigious program that fully funds students through their first three years of graduate school. The deadline was October 15th, 2024 for Mathematics.
  • SUMS Conference. The SUMS conference is an undergraduate mathematics conference hosted by James Madison University. The deadline to submit a poster or talk was October 17th, 2024.
  • RUMRC. The Fall 2024 Regional Math Conference was an undergraduate mathematics conference hosted by Towson University held on November 9th, 2024.
  • EDGE Program. The Edge program is for women entering or currently in their first year of graduate studies in mathematics. The deadline was February 14th, 2025.
  • MARMA Regional Spring Meeting The Mid-Atlantic Regional Math Alliance hosted their second annual meeting on March 22, 2025 at UVA. The priority deadline for funding was February 15 and the meet includes a poster presentation opportunity.
  • MATRX The Annual Mid-Atlantic Research Exchange was an undergraduate conference held at John Hopkins University on March 30, 2025. The deadline to register was March 9 and you had the option of presenting either a poster or a talk.
