Presentations slides should be made in LaTeX using the provided beamer template on the “For Members” section of the MEGL webpage.
2. Presentations must be 5-6 minutes long. Students will be warned at 5 minutes.
3. All undergraduate researchers present together in the same presentation on their teams’ progress, and they are all expected to contribute to the presentation.
4. Faculty and graduate student mentors should not be involved in presentation.
5. .pdf and .tex files for the slides are due at 5:00PM on Wednesday, March 4. To submit, email these files to [email protected].
Teams who do not submit their slides by the deadline of 5:00PM on Wednesday, March 4 will be expected to do all of the following:
1. Arrive no later than 9:30AM for the Mid-semester presentations on Friday, March 6.
2. Bring their slides in PDF format on a thumb drive.
3. Present at the end of the session, rather than at the scheduled time.
If students do not complete the above, then they may not have the opportunity to present at the mid-semester meeting.
