Mason Experimental Geometry Lab

For Prospective Members

The Mason Experimental Geometry Lab (MEGL) offers an experimental approach to both pure and applied mathematics. MEGL teams include a faculty advisor and students, both undergraduate and graduate.

Faculty and students in MEGL work together using a range of tools including parallel computing, 3D printing, virtual reality simulations, and interactive mathematics demonstrations.

MEGL is part of the the growing network of labs is under the umbrella of a national organization, Geometry Labs United (GLU). It was founded by Sean Lawton, Anton Lukyanenko, and Jayadev Athreya in 2012.
